Arjun Kapoor Biography, Age, Height, Weight, Family, Wiki & More
Arjun Kapoor is a popular Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. Born on 26 June 1985 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he comes from the illustrious Kapoor film family. He is the son of celebrated film producer Boney Kapoor and late television producer Mona Shourie Kapoor. Arjun is also the step-son of legendary actress Sridevi and the half-brother of actresses Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
Though he was born into a film family, Arjun’s journey into Bollywood was far from easy. He struggled with obesity in his teenage years and weighed around 140 kg at one point. Through intense dedication and hard work, he transformed himself physically before stepping into the film industry.
He began his Bollywood journey behind the scenes, assisting filmmakers like Nikhil Advani and Karan Johar on movies such as Kal Ho Naa Ho and Salaam-e-Ishq. His acting debut came in 2012 with Ishaqzaade, a romantic drama where he starred opposite Parineeti Chopra. The film was a commercial success and established him as a promising newcomer.
Following this, Arjun starred in several notable films like:
Gunday (with Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra)
2 States (opposite Alia Bhatt)
Ki & Ka (with Kareena Kapoor Khan)
Tevar, Aurangzeb, and Half Girlfriend
Though his career has had its ups and downs, Arjun has consistently shown versatility in his roles—from action to romance to experimental dramas like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
Apart from acting, Arjun is known for his witty social media presence and his advocacy for mental health and body positivity. He also supports charitable causes, including cancer awareness—something close to him after losing his mother to cancer just before his debut.
In his personal life, Arjun has been in the limelight for his relationship with Malaika Arora, which they’ve both addressed publicly over the years.
